Rim Reaper forged wheel with polished turbine face

Orlando, Florida

One billet. Five stages. Zero castings.

Why we started

Rim Reaper started in a two-bay shop because we were tired of watching cast wheels crack on job sites. A cast wheel is poured; a forged wheel is squeezed until the metal has nowhere left to hide. That difference is the entire company.

We build to order, we build one set at a time, and we put a reaper in the center cap because the wheels that came before yours are dead and gone.

Polished barrel and step lip of a Rim Reaper forged wheel

From puck to pallet

  1. 01

    Billet in

6061-T6 aluminum arrives as solid pucks and gets serialized before it ever sees a press.

  2. 02

    8,000-ton forge

The puck is pressed under heat until the grain runs with the shape of the wheel instead of across it.

  3. 03

    5-axis cut

Faces are cut over 9 to 14 hours depending on the design. No two programs share a toolpath.

  4. 04

    Hand polish

Six grit stages by hand. This is why our lips throw a mirror instead of a haze.

  5. 05

    Load test

Every wheel is pressure tested, torque-checked and shipped with a signed spec card.
